Metrobank New York Office was established in 1977 and became a full branch in 1984, moving to its present location in 1988. Our head office is at Metrobank Plaza located on Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue, Makati City, the Philippines' financial center.
We offer a full range of banking and other services, on our own account or through other members of the Metrobank Group.
Our aim is to continue the legacy established by our founder, Mr. George S. K. Ty, of providing innovative and personalized banking assistance, whether to develop unrivaled products for individuals, or to create opportunities for businesses.
With the improvement of economies in the Asian region, we were able to adapt and capitalize on our presence in New York through our Trade Finance business. We continuously look for ways to improve our non-traditional banking services, such as our remittance service, to meet the demands of our clients. Our strong overseas branch network has enabled us to process remittances for countless Filipino overseas workers.
We are networked to over 700 branches in the Philippines, 35 foreign offices, 58 remittance tie-ups and more than a thousand correspondent banks, with an international presence spanning 21 countries.
That includes thousands of Metrobank employees, each of whom uniquely contributes to inspire and support Filipinos all over the world.
